After an unsatisfying 2015 season when the club’s statistics seemed to be better than their record indicated, and after a seemingly strong draft this winter, the Possums had seemed poised for better things in 2016.  However, it took them six long weeks early this season before the Possums finally tasted victory.  After going 0-4-1 for the first five weeks, they finally recorded their first win in mid-May.

But now the Possums are the hottest team in the league!  Rick shrewdly added Adam Duvall (22 HR, 59 RBI) and Sam Dyson (17 saves) in late May and the team reeled off four straight victories.  After a tough 4-5-1 loss to the PhoeGnomes, the Possums crushed the Legion and the Hollidays to move their record to 7-5-1 just two games off the lead (and just a half game out of the first division).  They have dominated most of their recent matchups.

If Rick can keep making the kind of moves he has been making, and avoid any big injuries, he may be poised to make a run at the title!  The Possums are on a roll!
